Samples from Teva Digital Health:

These materials were created to provide on-demand lessons for a medical collaborative studies project. The goal was to train clinicians on how to onboard asthma patients to the Digihaler App. This multi-lesson training utilized Adobe Captivate for the visuals and Amazon “Polly” employed for narration.

Pairing the Digihaler to the App

Here are some videos that I put together while working for various organizations including ProcessUnity, CloudLock, and Constant Contact.  I’ve used a number of production tools such as Adobe Captivate, Screenflow for Apple OS, as well as various components of Adobe Creative Suite.

This video was produced to help onboard our users to our contacts system. It’s a mix of instructive content with some best practices. Narration is outsourced.

Additional Samples (Instructional Design)

Here are some additional links to demonstrate my experience in instructional design and education architecture.

Exercise: Write an Email to Your Future Self This exercise is designed as a way for a learner to reflect upon what they have learned during training and how it will be applied. It is also intended to provide level 3 assessment information about how the training has affected the student’s performance. (Kirkpatrick)

Curriculum Proposal for Clinical Studies Training: This document proposes the transition from instructor-led virtual training to a hybrid model with a shorter live segment combined with interactive eLearning. A course outline and objectives is included. The proposal was accepted and the hybrid model was implemented. This resulted in a the near elimination of mistakes and significantly increased the number of study sites trained over time.

Training Proposal (Download) Written to propose training curriculum and methodology for ProcessUnity eLearning Program.

Learning Methods and Retention: This document was produced for the faculty of Harvard Medical School during the pandemic. They were challenged with transitioning from traditional instructor-led training to remote delivery. The problem was that many of them simply chose to deliver the instruction the way they did in the conventional classroom ( 90-minute lecture), The document explains the benefits of active over passive learning and the effect on retention. It also gave them with a framework to “triage” their course material to 3 levels of effort. (Repair, Remodel, Redo).

Certification Overview and Sample Curriculum (Download) This documents the process and curriculum for achieving certification for task automation product. It was a collaborative process involving myself and other Instructional Designers.

Rapid Task Analysis (Download) Conducted for Constant Contact. Used to measure  combined factors of complexity of task with criticality of completion. Numbers from task analysis were used as output as a 4 quadrant scatter chart to prioritize projects.

Concept Map - Uploading Contacts: This is an example of an exercise that is used to differentiate user tasks as identified by product designers from other perspectives (context) of the product users. These differences often indicate needed learning strategies when designing a course.
